This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The site displays in current browsers and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code means any future browsers will display it correctly.
Whilst Eco Membership Cards strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
Navigation: We have tried to make the site navigation as clear and as simple to use as possible.
Web Page Size: We recommend that users with impaired vision use the CTRL and the + key on their keyboards to increase / zoom the page size.
Text Size: To comply with W3C standards we do not "hard code" text size. Text size can be changed in your browser settings however altering the text size may cause overflow and possible navigation issues. We recommend using CTRL and the + key on your keyboard to "zoom" complete web page displays.
Headings and Navigation: HTML heading tags are used to convey document structure. H1 tags are used for main headline titles and H2 tags for sub titles.
Images: All the images used in our site include descriptive "alt tag" attributes and "title tag" attributes.
Colours: We have taken care to ensure that the site's font and background colour combinations contrast significantly and are effective in ensuring all information is still clear when viewed in different colour combinations.
If you wish to override the site's colours, you can do this by changing your browser settings to your own preference.
Stylesheet: This site uses a cascading style sheet for most elements of visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, or you have chosen to switch them off, we have endeavoured to ensure that the content of each page is still readable and clearly structured without stylesheets.
Browsers: We recommend using an up to date web browser to ensure that the website displays correctly. Although this website is responsive, old browsers do not read the code correctly and therefore will not display the web page as it should.
